Sweden Tyres was formed by, mainly, investors from Sweden as a project where the profit to a large part, will be re-invested in projects that will contribute to positive change in Eswatini.
Already in 1988, the Swedish surgeon, MDr. Britten Klöfver Ståhl, was for a period working at the Emkhuzweni Health Centre in Eswatini, then known as Swaziland. Her husband, Civ.Ek., MBA Bengt Ståhl, joined her for a short stay. They both fell in love with the country and the people of Swaziland and, motivated by their Christian faith, have since then returned to the country many times. Having now reached their retirement age, they decided to take the initiative to themselves and together with friends form a sustainable business.
Sweden is the home of Scania, Volvo and many other high tech industries where utmost quality is the number one goal; Sweden Tyres is dedicated to the same goal: 100 % customer satisfaction.
To achieve this goal we have trained our staff meticulously with repeat session from our trainer from Leader Tread in Johannesburg. Leader Tread is also our supplier of raw material. Known in the business since many year, their rubber is of the highest quality available on the mark resulting in – depending on pattern and treads used – more mileage out of Your re-treads than from anywhere else.
Sweden Tyres is aimed at small and middle sizes truck companies where the turn-around-time is critical for Your fleet of trucks. In most cases, we will be able to deliver Your re-treaded when You need them. In emergency cases, our factory will run also the evenings and week-ends.
